Chalk on the Walk 2005

Beautiful. Stunning. Brilliant. Dazzling. These are just a few of the words used to describe the artwork created on the sidewalks of downtown Tehachapi at this year's Chalk on the Walk. The weather was perfect and the spirit of creativity and friendship was alive and well. With nearly 60 entries this year, ranging from 2 to 80 years old, it didn't take long for the sidewalks to bloom with color. I can only say I'm glad I didn't have to pick the winners! Thanks to everyone who participated in this year's event. Without your participation this event wouldn't be the great fun that it is!
