Chalk on the Walk 2006

"It's going to be hard to draw on the sidewalk, when there isn't any sidewalks!" One customer at Gallery N Gifts was overhead commenting. However a change of venue didn't stop the local talent from coming out to "paint the town" in the 6th Annual Chalk on the Walk. This Year's event was held at Railroad Park on Tehachapi Blvd. where the shady trees and nice cool breeze seemed to add to the small town picturesque scene on this perfect August Saturday. This year's event boasted 52 awe inspiring entries even with the construction that threatened to put a damper on this event. But it seems summer fun just can't be stopped. Nor can the creative spirit of our community! Our judges for this year's event were Terri Asher, Charleen Collins, Fredette Kenyon, Kathy Leverson, Helen Mc Callister, Gail Martin. Thank you so much for taking the time to help us out, we know it was not easy to judge all the beautiful works of art! Thanks to everyone who participated in this year's event. Without your participation this event wouldn't be the great success that it is!
