Chalk on the Walk 2008


Over 75 artists showed up to paint the sidewalks in the 8th annual Chalk on the ?Walk sponsored by Tehachapi Valley Arts Association.YThe weather was fabulous and the artwork was even more amazing! Each year we wonder how anything can top the artwork that's created, yet each year, the talent just keeps bursting out and leaving us all in awe! Congratulations to the 2008 winners and many thanks to our prize donors and event sponsors. Proceeds from the event will purchase art supplies for our local schools, as well as provide grants and scholarships to graduating Tehachapi High School seniors. Special thanks to our volunteer judges: Toni Haigh, Pam & Jack Wildermuth, Lisa Hester, Howard Colby, Michelle Taylor.
