Once again the sidewalks of downtown Tehachapi
burst into color when the local talent came out to participate in
the 2010 Chalk on the Walk event sponsored by Tehachapi Valley Arts
Association and Main Street Tehachapi. Over 35 artists came out to
spend the day wowing spectators with dazzling displays of artistic
ability while other artists displayed their talents in the Art in
the Park venue also at Railroad Park. Many thanks to all of the
wonderful businesses who sponsored this year's event! Proceeds from
Chalk on the Walk fund art projects in local Tehachapi Schools. The
following winners were announced after a tough session of judging
and deliberation:
